Presentation of the book "Airport" by Sergei Loiko
On September 3 at the Ukrainian House was held presentation of the book "Airport", authored by a foreign journalist and photographer - Sergei Loiko."Airport" – is the main book about the war, which was not shouldn’t happen, and the heroes who wanted to live, but died."
30 minutes before the presentation in the hall was full with the visitors and new guests were arriving.
Books were sold by the entrance of the concert hall. Customers bought even more than five copies.
The event started with a minute of silence for all victims of the war in Ukraine. Then the screen showed book-trailer - pictures of Sergei Loiko from the territory of ATO, accompanied by the song of Okean Elzy "Oh, whose horse is standing."
During the presentation Loiko read an excerpt from the book about the history of Russian mother who finds out that her son died in the war against Ukraine.
"This war affected women. It must stop immediately! It does not have any excuse!"- Sergei Loiko.
In conclusion, the author invited on stage cyborgs who helped and inspired autor on writing, and thanked all who joined to creation the book.
Event ended with autograph session. Author and cyborgs signed books with a big pleasure.
President's wife Maryna Poroshenko joined the action "Give a book to a Soldier". "Dear Ukrainian soldiers! Every day you are fighting for freedom and independence of our country. You are the best sons of Ukraine! I bow to your mothers, fathers and relatives! I believe in our victory! Glory to Ukraine! "- With these words First Lady signed the book for the military.
The collected copies will be handed over to soldiers in the East.
