ICC Kiev is taking part in Moscow International Book Fair 2013
Ukrainian house will carry out all organizational and informational functions at Moscow International Book Fair and Exhibition and will be there with Ukrainian delegation together with Goskomteleradio that is going to get all exhibitional and presentational events. Director of Goskomteleradio Aleksey Kononenko will head Ukrainian delegation consisting of publishing houses “Folio”, “Baltiya-Druk”, “Kartografiya”, “Kupol”, “Summit-Kniga” and enterprise “Pressa” specializing in spreading periodical issues.
Ukrainian delegates are going to present a national exposition and carry out various presentations, meetings, specialized seminars and discussions with local and foreign publishing houses. The stand of our country will contain information about over 300 issues covering news books including those ones that were published last year under the budget program “Ukrainian Book”.
A special reward ceremony of the International Contest “Book Art” held in Minsk on May 23-24 will be part of the International Book Fair where rewards will be given to CIS countries that took prizes in the contest in Belarus.
The book of Oksana Kosmina “Traditional Clothing of Ukrainians” published by “Baltiya-Druk” received grand prize at “Book Art” Contest. A special diploma was awarded to Lidiya Artyukh in the nomination of “My Country” for the book “Customs of Ukrainians in the national calendar” (publishing house “Baltiya-Druk”). The book “Barabashka and everything else” issued by the publishing house “Lybid” was given a diploma in the category of “Children Books”.
The work of Georgiy Mynin and Yevgeniy Lunyak “Outstanding Russians in the history of Ukraine” took the 3d prize in the nomination “Commonwealth”. The same award was given to the album “National museum of the history of Ukraine” published by “Iskusstvo” (nomination “Art Book”).
“Popular history of Christianity” by Sergey Sannikov (publishing house “Sammit-Book”) and “Princes of Radziwill” written by a team of Ukrainian, Byelorussian and Russian authors (publishing house “Baltiya-Druk”) received diplomas in the nomination “Culture.Science.Education” and “Printed in the commonwealth” accordingly.
