17th International Wheelset Congress

ICC Kiev will host one of the most reputable events in the wheel industry- 17th International Wheelset Congress. The grand opening will take place on the 22nd of September at 6pm.

The Congress is an important platform for communication and experience exchange between national rail road operators, producers of train wheels, wheel pairs and train wheel bands, equipment suppliers, spare parts for train industry, scientific institutes, research labs, standardization organizations, etc. ICC Kiev also hosts Forum on issues of advancement in the design, technology and manufacturing of rail wheelset components as well as performance and safety increase in railway industry.

The International Wheelset Congress (IWC) was founded by Lucchini Company in 1963. The first congress took place in Bergamo, Italy that year. Since then, with only two exceptions it has been held every three years. The International Wheelset Congress is the oldest railway technical conference in the world. The special event is one of the most important places for experts and manufactures in the sphere from all over the world.

Kiev will hold IWC for the first time. KLW-WheelCo is the organizer of the event (www.klw.biz). This company is the wheel brand of steel pipe and railway producing Company Interpipe.

At the International Wheelset Congress you can do the following:
